From the third year onward, academic learning is combined with hands-on clinical practice in hospitals and healthcare centers affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defence. Upon successful completion, graduates are awarded the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, which is fully recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council.
